Hope Fair 2017 Hosted by Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit

Bangkok (Thailand) – March 14, 2017 (travelindex) – The luxury Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok will host ‘Hope Fair’ on 28 March, 2017. The Fair which commenced in 2014, will attract more than 100 artisans, craft makers, chefs, and delicatessen outlets. These stallholders will have their goods exclusively available for this popular event. It is a perfect opportunity to satisfy epicurean desires and to discover special gifts for you and your loved ones.

Hope Fair vendors are selected for their history, their product lines and what they can offer the community. Many of the products are home or handmade with purpose and passion. The food is mainly organic, healthy, natural and mostly direct from the source to the fair. An assorted range of homewares which embody the artist’s passion and vision will also be on offer. Cosmetics and heath products made from natural ingredients will be available, as well as wellness and healthy lifestyle tips. Children are catered for with a selection of educational games, trendy clothes, fun costumes, and amusing activities like; Carry On, Good Spirit, Vivin, Olive, Maison Jean Philippe and Mexicano.

All the participating vendors donate to the Mercy Centre of Klong Toey. The centre conducts a shelter for street kids. It is home to five orphanages, a hospice, and a residence for mothers and children with HIV/AIDS. There is also a 400-student kindergarten, a community meeting place, and serene havens in some disadvantaged areas with small gardens and playgrounds. The organization has 23 preschools in total, supporting over 3000 children, five days a week and all in different underprivileged communities.

Since its creation, the Hope Fair community, with the support of the Rembrandt Hotel has raised more than 300 000 THB. The Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok general Manager, Mr Eric Hallin said the Rembrandt Hotel will continue to support this worthy cause.

The Hope Fair also supports approximately 10 other charities at each event by providing nonprofit community groups the opportunity to sell their wares. All revenue from sales will go directly to the communities they are supporting.

During the Hope Fair, donations to the Mercy Center will be accepted at the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok. Clothes, household items, shoes, toys and other articles will be distributed through the hotel to those in need.

The Hope Fair will be held on 28 March, 2017 from 9.00 am – 3.00 pm in the Ballroom, Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 18
